The department of Physics and Medical Technology (FMT) facilitates innovation and use of this equipment VUmc wide with a focus on management, assurance of quality, safety and effectiveness.

In the field of medical technology the support section of FMT performs maintenance, support and management of all medical equipment in the VUmc. She is also responsible for the quality and safety of medical devices.
