Cardiovascular MRI course

Practical Information

Credentialing

This program is accredited by both the Netherlands Society of Cardiology (NVVC) and the Radiological Society of the Netherlands (NVvR) and is awarded 18 credit hours (and 34 hours for the 5-day course)  and 18 credit points ( and 32 points for the 5-day course) , respectively.

In accordance with the guidelines of the ACCF/AHA (Training Statement on Multimodality Noninvasive Cardiovascular Imaging. JACC 2009:53:125-146), and SCMR (Task Force 12: Training in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging, JACC 2008:51:404-8),  this training contributes to level 1/2 CMR credentialing:

  • 18 hours of course work and 5 cases for the 3-day course
  • 20 hours of course work and 15 cases for the 5-day course.

Course dates

March 8-10 (13) 2012 and November 15-17 (20) 2012. Starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, and ending at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday or 5 pm on Tuesday. The next courses will be around March and October 2013.

Venue

The course will be held at the VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam , The Netherlands, located at 20 min. by train or taxi from Schiphol International Airport. Hotel and travel information will be sent after registration.

Registration form

Early registration is recommended: entry is limited to 12 participants for the 3 day course, and 3 participants for the extended 5 day course.
Registration will not be processed without payment.

Costs

The course fee, including tutorial materials, lunches and one dinner is:
1600 Euro for the 3 day course and 2000 Euro for the 5 day course.
The fee must be paid in Euro's.
