Janneke van Denderen is a biomedical scientist experienced in management. After finishing her biomedial education at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam she completed her PhD on "Tumor specific proteins in human cancer" at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Subsequently she focused on management and education in the VUmc. She was involved in the development of the Oncology Research Institute at the VUmc and the Oncology Graduate School Amsterdam. She initiated the Master Oncology and coordinated the development and implementation of a new curriculum for medical students. Since September 2008 she is projectmanager in the department of Pathology.
